The RHD converted DeLorean that Love Productions have been restoring will be auctioned at COYS Auction on Tuesday 11th of March 2014 at The Royal Horticultural Society, 80 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PE.
If any one requires pictures (inc the RHD conversion) please 'PM' me.
EDIT Auction list now online:
http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?auctionID=41&lots=1 The first six lots are the cars from the series. And for info the 'proper' number plate bezel is behind the riveted on large rear number plate. Seems they have not bothered to change it which is a shame.

Come on then ... fess up…who's interested in bidding? I don't know what its like now but its been to Chris N's so it can't be bad.
I suspect it will have no reserve so it may just end a bargain for someone.

thought it had your name on it Chris   I suspect it will go to a collector who will pay over the odds, as with the last LHD that went to auction @ 26k. Only time will tell I suppose.

Unfortunately I dare not raise the subject with "She who be must obeyed". And I hate going to the middle of London.

They were more specifc really about the RHD conversion to send to Dave and for reference to compare to other W-Hodec conversions, also for the future owner should they want them for before the restoration as it were.

As an RHD I'm sure this will go to a collector/high bidder so sadly there's little point in me showing an interest :p Still on the lookout for the right one for me, even though I'll be lucky to have the funds left if my house goes through in the next month or so. Alas ...

It will be interesting to see what it goes for Chris.
Could I ask that you send some pics to me when you get a minute please ( I have a friend who has shown some interest).
Thanks

Chris, is this the car from the forthcoming restoration TV series, (That I have forgotten the name of)? Or has it already been aired?

Yes it is, though I'm not actually sure they have finalised a name for the series yet. This is not to be confused with another series called Classic Car Rescue (CH5) who are also doing a DeLorean as part of a second series. This has been restored in Canada and is on it's way back to the UK.

OK, I think I was confused.
This is the one from the TV zseries that had a number of owners get to gether just before Christmas for a photo-op?
Neither series has been aired yet - right?
Back on topic - are Nantangs considered a good tyre? They aren't offered in the US, but I would have expected a top notch retso to use established brand name tyres, but maybe I am way off base (as they say here )
