A huge thank you from myself for the people who came along today (and for Dan on Saturday) despite it being mid December and everything last minute we had what I would consider a very good turn out of cars (9 today + the project car) and what we had been asked for yesterday. A massive thanks from me and no doubt from Love Productions. I'm sure that when the programme is finally aired (April'ish) it will all look really good, clearly we were all busy watching what we were doing during the driving parts so none of us could see what it really looked like but I'm sure the finished product will will look really good.
Please contact Love Productions regarding mileage payments Etc
Thank you for helping out with this and giving up your time for what I'm sure will be a great TV programme.

Thanks must go to Chris (for organising) and Love Productions for a really great day out.
It was good to meet up again with friends old and new.
From the footage the editor showed us on their phone (after filming) its going to look fantastic on TV.
For those of you who couldn't make it....heres a taster....

Really enjoyed today and meeting so many other owners. Great fun doing the formation laps and all the other shots. Thank you very much indeed to those who organised it. Can't wait to see the finished episode in April/May (let's hope they airbrush out my ugly mug).

Believe me, nothing to how much I hope I end up on the cutting room floor, never been so embarrassed in my life
Again thanks to everyone, I'm sure it will all look great when it all finally is shown.

You looked highly professional Chris. I'm very much looking forward to seeing whatever it is that the producers decide to air in a few months time.
I have to say that the weekend has left me with "post Delorean depression". I really, really enjoyed driving the car in formation with everyone else around the banked circuit. It's probably a good job that nobody was sitting with me because I was chuckling like a right idiot. Somehow driving my Mondeo on the roads of Edenbridge isn't quite the same.

Yes that was good though most of us (including myself) were probably concentrating to hard on driving close up to everyone to enjoy it as much as I should have. Having thought about it on the way home I should have asked to allow us to go around on our own to make the most of the banked circuit
None the less I'm sure it will look good!

I'm very glad there was a good turn out. Congrats to all of you who made it.
The picture that Darren posted of the chap strapped on the front of the Lotus reminded me of when I did a bit of filming for the BBC. We were on a public road, in the Derbyshire countryside and they suddenly asked it they could get a moving shot of me at the wheel…….the cameraman ended up sitting in my open bonnet as I drove very steadily along!!! Try it! you can't see a blooming thing!

The car that has been restored as part of this series is now confirmed to be auctioned, The reason it is being sold before the programme is broadcast is a: Because they have to! due to broadcast regulations or something and b, they want to include the sale of each car in the programme of each one. I will cross post this in the cars for sale as well.
Auction list now on-line:

Good Afternoon,
On behalf of the team here at Love Productions I would like to thank you for being involved in C4’s brand new classic car series.
As I’m sure you all will know we have been restoring six iconic, British vehicles as part of our fantastic series and the time has come to return these brilliant cars back to the public.
Our restorations will go under the hammer at a prestigious COYS Auction on Tuesday 11th of March 2014 at The Royal Horticultural Society, 80 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PE.

A friend has sent me this from a fan web site:
The show's title has been confirmed. They're calling it (if you can believe it), 'Life on Cars' and it will air on Sunday April 20th. (Easter Sunday). Time is to be confirmed but it will be 7pm, 8pm or 9pm.
As I understand it the new series of Classic Car Rescue is due to start on Ch5 about the same time.
