Sadly Frank Carson passed away today aged 85. Thanks for giving us a great night's craic in the Europa Hotel at Eurofest last May.

yes, thats very sad news Robert, one of the last of the proper old school comics, a great loss to comedy.

Very sad to hear of Frank's death, one of the highlights of my working life was meeting Frank in a hotel in Newcastle some years back, I had breakfast with him and he took the micky out of everyone in the restaurant, I have never laughed so much over my corn flakes as I did that morning even on checkout he had the reception in stitches. I will never forget on the counter was a letterbox which read comments please, Frank duly put his mouth to the opening and starting critisising all the staff ~ everyone including myself were in stitches, some man, I remember telling all and still do of my meeting with the great man who made everyones day a happier one God bless Frank.
