High pressure switch retro fit
#1
Hi all,
I am in the process of ordering some bits to sort out LJH's air con.
I am over in the States next week so getting the bits shipped to me there.
My question is has anyone in the club retro fitted the high pressure switch hub to a earlier vin car?
If so what mod did you do to the wiring? As it will have two connectors on the later style one hp and one on lp cycling switch. The earlier set up on my car just has the lp switch.

Cheers

Yes, I have

There is link out wire on a connector, taped in to the low pressure switch loom.

Unplug the link out wire, and plug in the high pressure switch.

You will need a short cable making up with a two pin lucas connector, to two spade connectors.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
