I bought this as part of the restoration of #3352's chassis but in the end managed to pick up a complete chassis that was ready to go. If you're worried about your frame extension and thinking it'll need replacing at some point, now's your chance to pick up a bargain.
Mine is from DMC in Houston and costs $1375 excluding shipping and tax, which given the weight and price add a LOT.

Because this was to be used as part of a complete chassis overhaul including galvanising, this one is NOT powdercoated, but I'd be happy to have it done for anyone looking to purchase. It currently has a thin layer of black paint in order to ward off surface rust.
£500 incl delivery. If unsold within a couple of weeks, I'll put it on fleabay.

Hi Martin, consider this sold !!
How much are you looking at to have it powdercoated?
Dont suppose you've got a good black binnacle either? Mines cracked again
despite being repaired a few years ago. (or a grey one that we can
paint black).

(didn't see your reply here till now)
Sold!
You should receive it sometime Tuesday.
I had one spare binnacle, god knows where it went when Chris emigrated. It was in poor shape though. I had a lot of luck with patience and flexible filler, followed by either my specially mixed grey vinyl dye or the black stuff from Halfords.

Which courier firm should I look out for on Tuesday (or is it snail mail?)

I would recommend anyone do a frame job before it's too late and it can't be repaired.
The snag once you're "in there" is all the other jobs you decide to do at the same time....
