Washer Jet Bottles
#1
Don't suppose anyone has a spare one of these lying around? lol
Filled mine up last week and it poored the entire contents all over the floor. Sad
By the sounds of things the washer pump isn't working either, so it definately needs replacing.

The bottle is probably fine, are you sure the hose hasn't just come off the pump?

Hmm. Sounds more likely yes. Havn't had chance to check it out during the daylight. But I will tomorrow.
It just seemed to be pouring out rather fast. Is the pipe from the pump wide enough to give a good free flow if it isn't connected?

Well, it literally pi$$es out (think about it! )

Pump failures are common because the cowling fills up with water. When changing out a pump, always make sure:

1) Drill 4 large holes in the bottom of the cowling so it can't get filled up with rainwater. There is a small hole originally but a bit of mud will soon block it up
2) Make sure the pump seals properly to the grommet in the bottle. If a bit of grit gets in the way, the fluid leaks out and if you haven't done (1), fills up the cowling and kills the pump.

That grommet can be a tricky so-and-so, especially if it comes apart.
