PRE-XMAS MEET UP :-)

Hi all,

been chatting to Malc Lomas, and wondered if people were interested in a pre-Xmas meet up?

Possible location is The Thorn Tree Inn on the A610 at Woodlinkin in Derbyshire.
Its about 6 miles from J26 of the M1, just before you get to Codnor. It has
recently been bought by 'Georges Tradition' who are a very good fish'n'chip chain
in this area - their batter is wonderfully light and the chips are really nice too
The Thorn Tree is a pub/restaurant with a large car park and is very easy to get to.

Other possible locations could be The Hogs Head Hotel/Restaurant at Awsworth in
Nottinghamshire (again close to the M1 at J26) which offers
excellent home made food at very reasonable prices or there is the Devonshire
Arms near Ambergate in Derbyshire (just off the A38 near Ripley).

Date is either Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th November.

If you want to come along, please stick your name down below and what date
you'd prefer out of the two (or put either if you're not fussed).

Just spoken to Malc again, looks like its a pie and a pint (in his words lol) at
the Thorn Tree (Georges), Woodlinkin, A610, nr Codnor, on Sunday 28th November.

He's spoken to Julian and Lisa who are also coming along.

Looks like I may not be able to make the NEC this year, but this meet sounds cool. Don't know if I'll bring Bakntim yet or not, but we should be able to make it at least.
