Yeah it might be worth me investing in some of those mirrors. Still cant find a fog light switch or anything, im guessing it needs one for the ot, but then i wonder how its passed before :S

Mines never had one Mike, I've got all the previous MOT's & its been through two while I've owned it.
I have to admit its only because ive pointed out where my switch is hidden that the same MOT guy for 4 years has even checked my fog light... I suppose there are more important things to check for safety reasons.
Is it Friday yet??

Your car will most likely have one somewhere. On mine it is hidden under one of the dummy switches (the blanks next to the window switches) and uses the inner most brake lights as the fogs as necessary. Looks totally original
The other option is to contact the previous owner as he'll be able to confirm if there is a fog switch.

The newer switch really shows up in the photo for some reason.

Looking good Mike........ Hope the summer comes early for you!
By the way, is a a characteristic of the photo, or is your drivers door opening further than the passengers?

Now this could be something as simple as an incorrect length gas strut on the one side.
If one has failed in the past, and they wasn't changed as a pair, a few mm in length will make all the difference.
By the way, i was only joking. If i were you, i'd look with your own eyes and make your own decisions...... photos can be deceiving!
