Chop Shop Gangsta' Car

Not sure if anyone has been following Chop Shop on Discovery channel but basically they buy a scrap car and turn it into some kind of themed car. In the last series they turned an old Saab into a 'Gangsta' themed car supposedly for Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet fame. Anyway it was recently sold at a Coy's auction for a yet undisclosed sum

Now there has been a lot of talk on the internet of how much it was disliked so it appears a VW forum have chipped into buy the car, and won it, and now plan to destroy it for charity mate at the VW Action show in September which is held at Santa Pod. Between now and then they are taking to various car shows to collect money for their chosen charity

Apparently it sold for £700 and Coys waved their fee when they found out what they plan to do with the car



According to the new owners the car does not run, half the electrics do not work and the battery to operate the boot lid, along with the actuator, is dead and that is the only way to open the boot :lol:

They plan to take the car to several car shows over the summer and for a donation to a teenage cancer charity allow people one 'hit' with a sledgehammer. Then come the VW show in September this is what they plan to do... :twisted:


I wonder if the D-Rex is free, maybe time to call Rich W :lol:
