it wont amount to anything though, the big petrol/oil companys and governments wont allow it even with all this green crap. Reason being because it would cause a huge turn in the economy if everyone suddenly got one. Atm they are happy making all the extra tax off us and keeping plkenty of people employed in the oil business etc.

Er, no. If anything like this was possible the car companies would be all over it. There's a fortune to be made for anyone who figures out how to make super efficient engines that actually work.

I've seen the water4gas/runyourcarwithwater idea, but the reuters news video doesn't seem to be referring to that technology, as it doesnt say you need any petrol at all, just water in the video...
