Hi all,
Someone told me about a 1981 Volvo 265 that is rotting away in a field near to where I live, so I went around to see it and yep the engine looks pretty familiar.
Would this bolt straight into a Delorean & if anyones interested I could have a word with the owner.

the block is the same, but the sandwich plate and sump need changing plus a host of other changes.
Its a shame but it looks to far gone to be worth removing and metering head is probably seized along with bores, what a waste i picked up all the volvo gear for mine venturi, metering head, dizzy plus all the bits i could lay my hands on for £60

So what cars have exactly the same engine as the D?
Ye looks too rusty to be used again :x ..... it does turn over though - tried it yesterday with a new battery, but the fuel system is shot.
