Hi All,
Just insured my Delorean fully comp for £96.
Limited miles to 3000 per year. Salvage rights (if written off you get the full value AND the car back)
Obviously the price depends on your age and circumstance but you may want to give them a try.

Nope,
When the schedule comes through I'll post you a copy, it comes with all the usual legal expenses and a value of £17.5K on the car.
I've been with them for over 10 years, no one else comes close on "unusual" cars.
It costs me around £750 per year fully comp on my new £215K Bentley.
With that in mind £96 for the Delorean is really expensive!!!

Reckless in a Bentley!
6.75 litre
Twin Turbo
600+ BHP
0-60 sub 5 seconds
de-limited 205mph
one off race suspension set up
Me being reckless on the Nurburgring, testing the new prototype lowered sports suspension. (sub 10 minute lap)
Butter wouldn't melt in my mouth!
I think your much mistaken.

As recommended by Darren, I got a quote off Richard Hoskins.
They came out top for me, cheapest and better cover (salvage rights, European breakdown etc.)
With Turbo modifications, living under a car port, 3000 miles...
Aon £235
Adrian Flux £200-250
Footman James £366

Richard Hoskins £160
That'll do me nicely, thanks for the tip Darren.

Sounds like a top find that one Darren !
Have you ever had to make a claim?
I hope not, but if you did what were they like in dealing with them?
Are they UK based too? (Hope so)

Hi Nick,
I don't want to tempt fate, but never needed to claim so far. However I know plenty of people who have and they have had good service.
Yes their UK based, and highly recommended, they're our specialist insurers for the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club, and the Bentley Drivers Club, so I wouldn't worry too much.
Good news for Delorean owners as we are small change to these guys, and probably why we can get such a good deal.
Glad to pass on the information.
Best Regards

Hi Tyson,
Not quite 110 yet, but feel like it sometimes.
Got a bit of a confession...wasn't £96. When the paperwork came through they charged me £94.70
I've been with them for about 10 years now, and have all my other cars insured with them. I still shop around each year and still barter with them on the price, They'll always knock a few quid off to keep your business.
Give them a try.
Best Regards
