All,
We're making good progress through the restoration of Pilot 20 - but I really, really want to get the correct steering wheel for the car.
The link below shows you pictures of the wheel I want - it's sourced from a different car - but we haven't been able to find out which.

This is becoming an obsession for us - so I'm offering a £££ reward to anyone who can nail this for us and either provide a wheel for us - or definitively name which car and year it's sourced from.
Thanks
Darren

Certainly looks French to me too. I'd been thinking Citroen 9 but then they had single spokes at the time didn't they? Will cogitate...

Agreed, a quick Google shows a similar steering wheel. Long shot, but would it be at all possible to ask Lotus directly? Im sure they have ways of finding out what they used?

Doesn't really help though... - other than that there was a black version of the wheel.

I was thinking of this steering wheel but isn't the same, close though
Also why I'm on here, this has absolutely nothing to do with this subject but my brother is back with his X, she is a nice girl with a lovely personality.

That is too funny...............!
It has a French look to it, but as many of you are aware its a Leyland rack...it does have a bit of an Austin feel...
Cheers
