It would be great to see you reunited with AXI 1698 Chris.
I vividly remember going for a very 'spirited' ride in AXI 1698 along the lanes of Allestree probably 12 -14 years ago. I never knew an automatic DeLorean could move so fast!

Those are my thoughts Phil…..although they say you should never "go back"…. how can I resist if I have Time Machine to do it in?
And I still have my Doc Brown "Duplication Machine"…. So I can knock a load more out for anyone else……….

Mind you I'm about as good at "driving" my duplication machine as I am my computer…hopeless...
I distinctly instructed it to "change" the rear lights, expecting proper US style ones….all it did was to turn them inside down!

Nothing wrong with a bit of irony Chris.
BTW AXI deal done, it may even be in Dorset along with Flashy, which is now definitely for sale.

is that 'DeLores' that you've bought back? Be great to see her again.
Sad that you've got to sell Flashy though, its not like you not to have at
least 2 RHD's in your collection

Yes Claire it is Delores, my very first Delorean . I only sold it 9 years ago because this rich fella offered me a 'daft' amount of money for it.( and I'd got Dusty). Now after 9 years of ownership and only 850 miles....I've gone and given him a good profit !
I must be loosing my touch!
I am collecting it whilst at Dorset, as it's only down the road..... Might need a volunteer driver to get them both home..... If Flashy doesn't sell.

Mrs P has been very tolerant of her Husbands mad-cap ideas over the last 45 years! Not many 20 year olds would spend time in an old rented pigsty whilst her boyfriend fiddles around re-building a 1931 car.
Countless cars later…and two boats…and 6 houses, she still supports me in my efforts. Only yesterday we were ploughing through the mud at the Belper Steam Rally, talking to Richard Hutch.
i'm not complaining……..in fact i'm a very luck boy!

looking at the photos again…perhaps it wasn't a brilliant idea to have the auxiliary fuel tank, tied to the light bulb!
