Thanks PhilipSteering is not the lightest on these cars at the best (compared to what we are used to with modern cars) as the advice before check the tyre pressures, look in the boot compartment and lift the carpet there should be an access point where you fill the brake fluid. You can remove that and see the steering shaft and UJ's (universal joints) try giving these a soaking with WD40 or similar.
Be interesting to know a bit nore of the history on these cars BTW
