Hello everyone. I've been in love with the DeLorean for 30 years now, I don't need to express why....you know why
I had my first DMC experience in 2004 while during a trip to California I tracked down a DeLorean dealer and paid a visit. The owner was happy to show me around and I got to see and sit in one for the first time. It was the best part of my trip!
In 2009 my ever loving and supportive fiancee was happy for me to hire a DeLorean for our wedding day (Looking back on an old email folder, Chris Williams, you pointed me in the direction of Stuart Rees who was more local to me). That day was epic! I got to drive it for a very short trip around the block, have a spin around town as a passenger, got lots of photos and escorted DMC style to the Church... I also got married!
Eleven years later and owning one myself has always seemed like a pipe-dream, but I'm hopeful to bring enough money together within the next year to be able to purchase my own. Unfortunately I'm not mechanically minded in terms of dealing with the maintenance that would come with owning such a classic car, but obviously willing to learn.
It's good to be here and thanks for having me.
Pic here is taken on the morning of my wedding day. My hairline has also taken a significant hit in the last 11 years.
