Before Christmas Mrs H and myself had a weekend away in London for our anniversary .
We took the D' . On the Sunday we took a look around Harrods.
On arrival the D' did it's usual out pose the parked Lambo routine 8) .
Upon leaving in the late afternoon traffic a lad on a mountain bike took some pics of the car.
I thought nothing more about this until I saw the C4 program.
I never knew that there are Supercar paparazzi!

And no I did not smoke the tyres or rev the engine....

we saw that programme Nick, tbh Phill and I can sympathise with the residents
as we have a similar problem with motorbikers treating the (30mph) road past
our house like a race track on they way to the 3x a week evening bike nights
at a venue a few miles away. Its no fun trying to get a toddler to sleep in the
evenings when what sounds like the IOM TT is going past your house from 6pm till
gone 11pm 3 nights a week. You cant sit outside because of the noise or have any
windows open in the summer, its awful.
Cool that you got yourself on that website though, I wonder if you're the first DeLorean
he's spotted?

...there is NO picture unfortunately, but this is the ONLY reference I've EVER found on the internet tabloids for LEX and I being out in public.
Just over half way down the page. It wasn't DOC Brown being hit by the credit crunch, it was me, just along the road from the garage I take LEX to for M.O.T's (I checked my spreadsheet calendar to make sure it WAS indeed me, although I think there is already a distinct lack of DeLorean activity around this area for it not to be me! ) I had to fill up before taking her home from a visit to the garage to get some work done. I'm trying to think. This might have been in preparation for going down to Wales that year for the club meet....?

Would REALLY like to see if other people out there, the ones I KNOW have taken pictures of LEX and I, have been bothered enough to post them on the tabloids and i've just not found them. I've looked around from time to time, and as I say, this is the only thing i've found, and there is NO picture!? I often see pictures of other club members cars out and about, but never me. You would think that given the extreme rarity of DMC's in Scotland, even more so than England, that people would be excited enough to show off their spotting on the internet. I DID see another picture of a DMC around Edinburgh, but it wasn't me. In fact the picture was taken before I even owned LEX.

That's not good Claire. I can totally sympathise.
Personally I can't understand the interest in driving a supercar around Knightsbridge for fun. I reckon I am getting old!
.
If I had the sort of cash those lads have got, it would be me and supercar and large stack of 80's hair metal CD's on passenger seat! (ok MP3 player then) With the hammer down all the way to some exotic location in the Top Gear style 8)
It was nice to see the car on the site. Our outdoor christmas lights also got in the local rag so as I said to Tam "my work here is done"
