Interesting Talk thread, so far the consensus appears to be against.
I think the comment about shifting the entire front end 'loading' from the spring seat onto the lower shock pin is especially interesting. Given the significantly small surface area afford by the pin ever the spring base the loading per sq inch must be huge. Add to this the drastically reduced amount of arm structure which lies underneath I would have thought this would prove a potential failure point.
Now if the lower arms where to be replaced with the new DPI units?
