Ok guys, lets get a good show of hands for this....

Free camping for 2 nights...
A real great free weekend away with classic cars, balloons, fairground rides, bar, a stonesthrow into the town... Who could ask for anything more?

...I might be tempted to go to this with the g/f in LEX for the day (Saturday) but not for camping since i've got no camping gear. I'd only need to drive down from Rugby, and then back at the end of the day (about 50 miles each way), if it's recommended as a good day out (weather being good too of course).
Is there anyone definite for this one?

...weather has decided it's gonna be good today, so i've decided to go down in LEX for the day. I'm not sure where I can park the car (Corporation Meadow or Crown Meadow - I presume with the other classic cars turning up - didn't see any way of booking into attend in a classic car...?)
Anyway, anyone else reading this, who is also going, DeLorean or not, let us know where you are...

...Not a balloon in sight, but still a good day out had by quite a few.
Spent the day with g/f Sarah, The Original Mr P, Mich from the Vauxhall crowd, and even had an impromptu visit from James Baker! ...A few others also made it to the day.
LEX was the only DeLorean, but she was enjoyed by many. I'll get a couple of photos up. Watch this space....

glad you had a good day out, Mitch is a spot on bloke and a good friend of ours, he often comes over
to our gaff for an automotive tech sesh and he was also at the Xmas meet at the American Diner (he had
the Mk1 Astra Celebrity).
I've had an email from David who organises the event, it would seem the ballooners are a 'fair weather' lot
and if its too breezy they cant fly anyway.
I have suggested to him that he moves the event to mid August (they did this in 2009 due to bad weather in
June and the cancellation of the event), so I'll wait to hear back from him.
