from things ive read you are not allowed to drive a left hand drive car in Aus.

I think it is correct to say that all cars in Oz have to been RHD unless they are over 25 years old...

i wish it was 25 years!!

every state has different rules on registering cars here. the current in nsw is that it has to be 30 years or older to not be converted!!!
the same applies to import duty for nsw...30 yrs and younger 20% if its older 10%...roughly :!:
i'm hoping to get mine out next year then drive it on the 6month allowance with lhd sticker on rear bumper before you must take it off the road and convert it.. or in my case wait about another 2yrs then just drive it once it gets 30 yr old :wink:
