Indeed Chris.....also been working on mine today.....exhaust manifold gaskets finally given up...so it sounds like tractor! It's booked to have new stainless systems fitted in one next couple of weeks.

If I don't make it tomorrow.....it won't be for the want of trying!

Thanks for making it happen Chris, lovely to get back out and about again. Just for a while it felt like Coronavirus had never happened.  Nice to see some old friends and new, and certainly the nearest DeLorean event to home that I shall ever get to!!

Just had a nice email from the Museum :-

Hi Chris,

A very big THANKYOU from us all to you all the De Lorean owners who made so many adults and children happy yesterday.

Enthusiasm is a much needed commodity on these still uncertain times and yours in particular brought some much needed sunshine into a rather grey day.

I hope we will see the DeLoreans again before too long.

Very best

Richard , Jason and team.

had a brilliant day out, I think Phill's BTTF camcorder went down well, there were lots of happy kids
posing for photos in their Marty outfits with it.

Thanks for organising it Chris, I've got loads of photos on my big camera, so happy to write an article
for the magazine if you want.

Nice to meet you all and will likely attend more DOC events. I have a few drone pictures to post but still need to edit them a tad. A video has been produced and is now in Williams hands to upload to the youtube channel. Hope you like it

Here we go. Some pics from the day...

Those are amazing shots Ryan! Great job! I really want a drone now! (oh no!)

I promise I was there over the weekend. Not that you can tell from any of the photographic evidence I've seen so far. Sorry I'm a bit late to say the following, a sudden distraction of my car throwing a wobbly.

I had a great day, in some amazing company. Great to see everyone again, some of you for the first time in a very long time indeed! Always looking forward to the next event. Good show out from everyone who came along. Everyone's cars are looking excellent. I'm just sorry I never got to hear Chrispy's car leave. Perfectly timed for my absence from the car park Chris! [attachment=1194]Well its difficult for me say how loud it was.....what with being inside the car and my hearing had got worse recently......BUT...I bet it was still quieter than the stright-trough system on my BTTF car !

Photos from the day (I've not included pics from inside the museum, these are just DeLorean photos).

They are on the Club Facebook page here:

Well folk.......another year has come around......we have been invited back again...to the British Car Journey

Hi Chirs,

I hope you are very well.

We are aiming to hold our second Delorean Day on August 29th Bank Holiday Monday 2022.

Ian writes....

We will be bringing out the DeLorean from the collection for passenger experiences on the day and we would be super grateful for your support again in rallying the troops at the club to form a display of this legendary and iconic vehicle!

I look forward to your reply,

Kind regards,   Iain.   greatbritishcarclub.com

Leanne and I have discussed it, and I think we'd be up for going to this again this year. I'm needing more excuses to get the car out more often.
