Full Throttle Microswitch
#1
Hi guys...

Maybe in simple terms, what does this do? I knew there was a microswitch which clicks OK between when the spool is at rest and opened, but only just discovered the little switch that is supposed to close on full throttle.

A poor adjustment is preventing it clicking when throttle is full, yet you can operate it manually and it clicks like a assume it should...

So once again, what is its purpose and what sort of symptoms shall I be getting without it working?

I never floor the car to that extent anyway, just curious to its purpose.

Thanks

It's supposed to allow further fuel enrichment at high revs due to the lambda system choking it to keep the emissions down.

Mine was ripped out along with the lambda system (not required without the lambda system)
