Before I make one (parts list)

Has anyone done this? A spready or something with parts? A checklist by section (body/frame/etc) There are plenty of "lists" around - none of which are much use without context.

I'm hoping to create one with some comparisons for pricing. I have plenty to buy, and whilst we probably all have a "favourite" or preferred supplier, the fact is, it'll be easier to buy in blocks from certain people at certain times (excluding our good club, of course).

If not, I'll get to work and share it when complete.

Sounds like a good idea.
I read yesterday that our CV joints & boots are identical to Porsche 911 (79' to 89') items.
Haven't looked any further into it, don't even know if I need new yet, car's too low & I'm too old!!! :lol:

It's a bit tough really - I know the likes of DMCH and so on will have a list by area and a tick box to say if it's needed and I know why they wouldn't make it public. That said, plenty of these cars have been restored so I know it must have been done to some degree (maybe with pen and paper though).

I'll see what I can come up with.
