WARD Engineering Braking components REFURBISHMENT services
Information supplied from Alexakos from DMCTalk:
http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?8576- ... post125729 My thanks to him.
Looking over in the web I found WARD engineering.
He actually makes Jaguar braking components and it so happens the are similar o the Deloreans made by GIRLING.
Sent the over to WARD in the UK and expected a mail saying "Sorry, these are scrap".
To my surprise, a couple days later he comes back with the bill. 34GBP each plus shipping.
When I opened he box, my jaw dropped....

Thy must be off something else though from the same company?? A company called Big Red can do most calipers.

I got my present pair of rear calipers from Wards too, Delorean ones were off the shelf though I think he said I had the last pair he had in stick. They are similar to a Jaguar and Ferrari one but if my memory serves correctly I think he said the pistons were a different diameter (but can't remember if larger or smaller!)

Iirc the pistons are larger. Something to do with being from a Daimler rather than jag.

we had all 4 brake calipers on our Sera done by Bigg Red, (ok, I know its not a Delorean..), but
they did all four, incl VAT and return carriage to us for £167, which I thought was pretty good.
