DMC Wheel Centres

What colour should the DMC logo in the centre of the wheel caps be? Grey, silver, white? Mine are a bit faded and thought I'd try touching up rather than £40 for new ones. Any advice?

For the earlier grey wheels, the logo is the same colour of grey as the rest of the wheel. For the later silver wheels, the logo is black.
