Dear Classic Car Owner
An invitation to a great day out - the Classic Vehicle Show & Fete, Croydon, Cambridgeshire - Sunday 1st July 2012 - Noon to 4.30pm
This e-mail is being sent to all classic car owners who have been invited in previous years to the Croydon Classic Vehicle Show & Fete. Many of you will have already attended and in which case we thank you very much for your previous support. To those who have not been before we would love to see you and you will be made most welcome while you enjoy this friendly show in a beautiful setting. Please feel free to pass on this mail and attached poster to your own contacts and encourage them to attend as well. If you need more information for this purpose then do not hesitate to get back to me.
For those who don't know, Croydon is a small village set on a hillside in beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside. We have lots of experience of running events but we rely on visitors to make them a success. This will be our third car show and will be our main summer fundraising event. All monies raised will go towards our village hall and continued restoration of our beautiful mediaeval church of All Saints. You will be able to see the results of previous fundraising in our new church roof and striking ceiling. The show is held in a lovely setting opposite the church and with lots of food, stalls, drinks, plants, games and arena activities, including parades of vehicles, so lots to do and see for the whole family.
Note show cars plus drivers enter free and please also note show car arrivals from 10.30 a.m. and before noon, please. It would be helpful if you would please confirm attendance in advance which would greatly assist with planning, though no one will be turned away on the day.
Please make a note in your diary of Sunday 1st July, Noon to 4.30pm. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for your support.
Best wishes and hoping to see you.
