back home from another scorching hot Supercar Sunday, what a great day out
Stuart, all credit to you mate for making the 4hr trip to Gaydon, and massive respect for getting up at stupid o'clock on a Sunday morning too 8)
Ed Hammond was kept busy taking people out in his car for the Sporting Bears charity. There were some lovely cars on offer, including a stunning Jaguar XJ220, the only one I have personally ever seen on the road.
It was quite weird, as alot of people had headed off by 2pm - summat about a game of football apparantly, and it was odd seeing SCS suddenly depleted by about a third come early afternoon, but it did not detract from the day, and there were some stunning cars on display.
Phill's 'Sorbet' was picked by the judges for the shortlist for 'Supercar of the Day', but when your up against the likes of open top Diablo's, Dodge Viper's, Mustang GT's, Aston Martin DB9's, etc.... :?
However, we cant complain about the parking space, Gaydon gave us a prime spot right in front of the museum
Pics to follow later when I've uploaded them from my camera to the laptop.
