Kevin I remember Nick testing your idle speed controller and it was sticking on one side sometimes. I reckon this is your problem here as well. Matt

I am going to galvanise mine then powder coat it as close to the original epoxy colour as possible. How much was the stripping? Was that prostrip in Nottingham?

Each to their own and all that. I just think when parts are getting more scarce as time is going by, it is as good a time as any to undertake this task since the engine is out anyway.

The plan is to take the engine out into the workshop area in the rear of the garage and mount it on a stand so shouldn't be too much of a problem I hope.

Is that 2 cubic metres as in volumetric weight. My reason is to try to get the frame to Prostrip if it was cost effective as local guys seem reluctant when you mention "epoxy".
