Claire I recommend getting a long one made by speedograph to go straight into the angle drive and not through the lambda counter which just puts extra strain on the angledrive.

I have volvo gear on my car. If yours is running well in stock form then I would personally leave it alone. Its a bit of a hassle to set up the volvo bits and for the extra power you will gain its not...

Be careful with the towing eyes though. They are prone to snapping off so try not to yank hard against them, keep the rope tight.

Mine has always been good on fuel, and even better since its been set up properly. Its strange how they all vary a bit. Mike C did even better on fuel than me and he still has a cat.

I believe mine are roughly 4 years old. Actually Gez I do like the car again. After this weekend and the road trip its made it all worthwhile, and front springs are easy enough to change.

Maybe its easier to put a new blower motor on it? Are they expensive? Its a shame the club still doesn't have a few parts otherwise you could have had one in time for the weekend.

Wow thats a great find. I wish I'd found something like that in mine. Maybe it was hidden in there in case anyone from 1955 saw it which could destroy the entire universe.

I did my test in my mums old diesel 106 after failing in my instructors car because the stupid examiner jumped on the dual brake thinking I wasn't going to bother breaking for a roundabout :roll:

Hi Darren, Thanks for the advice. So how do the strips come out? The side ones just unscrew by the looks of it, but the long one across the top, is that a T panel out job?

Belgian plates look like trade plates. Red and white, so it would have been them on the way back from eurotec.

DMC Houston sell a switch which is the same as a demister switch but with no decal on it. Then you can get a foglight decal to go on the blank switch.
