Electric drifting, autonomous DeLorean. - Dan Willis - 21 Oct 2015 This is certainly very clever, and interesting - though what they've had to do in order for the experiment to happen is beyond reversible. The chassis, springs, power steering, interior, engine.. it goes on and on - just to have a drift car that "looks like a DeLorean". Because, let's face it, that's about it! An odd choice in my book - could have done this to anything. http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2015/10/stanfo ... -than-you/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNIDcT0Zdj4 Re: Electric drifting, autonomous DeLorean. - Dangermouse - 21 Oct 2015 more pics here: http://revs.stanford.edu/node/781 Re: Electric drifting, autonomous DeLorean. - 88mph - 01 Nov 2015 Dan Willis Wrote:- could have done this to anything. But if you're going to build an autonomous car, you'd may as well do it with style!! Sorry couldn't help myself! |
