DMCH fuel sender combo unit - MML - 11 Sep 2015

I was wondering if anyone on this side of the pond has fitted one of these, and if so, what do they think of it?

I'd like to go for one, as I'm sick of the whole fuel level guessing game from the stock sender. Just wanted to hear some opinions first.

I think lots of people have and despite some problems with fuel pressure initially they do seem a popular option. There is also this as another cheaper option: http://www.specialtauto.com/delorean-pa ... ction.html
I have the pump part of this system and it seems to be all OK, cant comment on the fuel gauge as I sold this to Dr Tony but he mentioned at Lotus it was working fine.

Cheers Chris!
Truth be told I'd be a bit wary of ordering from John Hervey as I've heard some stories about his customer service...
I know a lot of the US guys have good things to say about the new combo unit, so I think I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on it.

Yes I have read that as well, he certinally used to be very slow about shipping and sending invoices, but I have never had any complaints about anything he sells. He also seems to have got on top of posting stuff now as he has someone working for him dealing with that side of it. Plus if it's small stuff he will send it USPS so it usually comes in without getting caught in the dreaded VAT/import fees nightmare.
