Crank Shafts, - Chris Williams - 10 Apr 2007

I think I probably know the answer to this one, however I shall ask the more enlightened (clever) out there
Is the crank in an auto engine the same as that attached to a manual gearbox? other than a different flywheel. If so is there a spigot bearing in the crank?
Thanks.
Chris

Hi Chris,

Yep the crank shaft is the same. It's the flywheel that's different. There should be a space for the spigot bearing to fit, but there wont be one in there.
