Re: Starting possible problem - marty - 13 Apr 2015 I didn't test the ohms on the car when it was warm, (although I will) as the car stopped it's bad starting once I added the check valve. I don't entirely understand why it worked as there was the smell of fuel along with the bad start but it works and works well "if it aint broke, I don't fix it" Re: Starting possible problem - andyd - 13 Apr 2015 marty Re your fuel hose, I saw this on another forum and thought I would post it up. http://scimitarweb.co.uk/sgwrs/viewtopi ... 48#p332348 Just for info, maybe keep an eye on it? Re: Starting possible problem - marty - 13 Apr 2015 andyd Wrote:marty Thank you for that. That is strange, DMC in USA fit only this stuff. I wonder if that guy put some cleaner in his fuel or something, or dragged crap up from the fuel tank, it seems odd (almost unbelievable) that someone would make a fuel hose that couldn't stand up to the task!? When I cut through the hose it was immaculate, like it was brand new without any degradation. I was actually quite taken with how good the fuel line was. Personally I think that guy is wrong, I think it is top draw. |
