Shrivenham, Wiltshire, 4th May 2015 - Guinney1971 - 22 Oct 2014
My name is John Hunt and I am a member of the Shrivenham Fete Comity. We
are holding an 80's themed event on the 4th May 2015 and I was hoping
that one or maybe more, of your members would like to come along and
show off their fabulous cars. I know it is asking a lot of someone to
put themselves out, but on the positive side Shrivenham is a beautiful
place and the Memorial Hall and grounds are a lovely venue. There are
lots of things to do, plenty of food, tea/coffee and bar.
I have had a chat with our Chairman and he has offered a small pot for
expenses if needed. It is a lovely yearly event for our local families
and very well supported, it would be wonderful if one or some of your
members could help. A DeLorean would be the main attraction and centre
peace for publicising the day which is quite a full event with 4-5000
visitors on a dry day.
It's near Swindon but on the A420 on the way out to Oxford.
If you have anyone in mind or could send an email out to the club
members it would be greatly appreciated. I very much look forward to
your reply.

can anyone who's thinking of going contact the organisers, as I'm getting emails from
them moaning that they need to sort things out, and no DeLorean owners have been
in touch.
I have explained that many people are putting their cars to bed for the season now, and
wont be getting their cars out again till early May.
Anyway, if your interested in going, please contact them and let them know, thank you
