Looking for DeLorean project - joshmatthews - 16 Jun 2014
Hello!
My name is Josh Matthews, i am 17 years old and am a new member.
since i watched Back to the future when i was about 7 and fell in love with the film AND the car, but it was only when i was 15 that i discovered that the DeLorean is a REAL car and was not a one off for the film. Ever since then i have been on a mission to find a DeLorean.
I have come here today/tonight to ask for your help in finding a DeLorean restoration project as i think it would be much more interesting and i know i would learn much more than buying a fully restored DeLorean. I want to invest the money that i have inherited as wisely as possible. I know that it won't be easy or quick to restore one but i am more than prepared to put in the hours/years that it will take.

Not sure where your located but if your close enough (or not and fancy a night away) why not pop along to this: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4745 you will learn far more in a few hours being with the cars than through the forum.

And you certainly have plenty of people on here to help with your restoration.
I'm not too far away as you know, so if you need any help you only have to ask....
There seems to be a big demand for restoration projects at the moment, but my advice is buy the best you can.
Incidentally, Chris P is selling a right hand drive at the moment, it's worth a look and it's bargain money for club members as right hand drives go.
