Continuous Building of my BTTF Collection...... - TheOriginalMrP - 05 Jan 2014

In the time I have had my DeLorean, just over 7 years, I have tried to collect as many of the props as possible without actually going the whole hog and doing a conversion. If money was no object I think I would keep my stock DeLorean and buy a time machine modified car...

However I am always on the lookout for new items...

I have....

Flux Capacitor
Hoverboard
88 mph digital GPS Speedo
Grays sports Almanac with Reciept
Metal Outatime Plate, and 2015 Plate
Marty Jr 's Cap from 2015
Most of the Flyers and Magazine Covers from the film... Oo LaLa!

Other items include....

Explodaview and other posters
DeLorean Moulded Cast Model
Key rings
Doc Umbrella, caps, hoodie, t-shirts, ice scraper, pen, mug, etc etc

Here are some pictures. If there is anything you have to boost my collection then let me know....

Ps I also collect Clocks, in hope to eventually create my own ELB Laboratory.
Also caps, 80's toys and memorabilia, old radios and electronics, I'm a right anorak!

Enjoy the pictures...
Mr P

Hi Steve. If you are referring to the plate on the back of the DeLorean, I can confirm it is not legal.

Mind you I have had it on there since November 2007 and never been pulled for it!

It's a pressed plate, Black over Silver, and the font is incorrect for the UK. Also Black and silver plates were only permitted on cars over a certain age. Technically the DeLorean is too new for this style of plate.

Mind you, the plate on the front of the car is very similar, and although it is closer to VOSA regulations, it still flounts a few rules!

Hope this has been of more info....

Love the wall of clocks.

Re: Continuous Building of my BTTF Collection...... - TheOriginalMrP - 11 Jan 2014

Ha, I scour the boot sales weekly and it's amazing how many clocks you can come home with for a couple of quid!

You can't beat a good car boot can you P! I always get up early on Sundays in summer to go find bargains and get a bacon butty Smile

And you can beat moving house to remind you of how …lets be nice…"non-essential" tat you have hoarded over the years!

We have been in our new place 18 months and I still have several large boxes of DeLorean stuff un-opened stored in a wardrobe.

its cured me of visiting car boots for a while……..

Re: Continuous Building of my BTTF Collection...... - TheOriginalMrP - 12 Jan 2014

And that is exactly why I have to have a place where I can keep the stuff I want to keep. My unit is a few miles from home but gone are the days when I get nagged at for what I keep.

It's also nice to turn the key and everything be where you left it. Such displays at home usually get tampered with while I'm in work by curious kids and visitors of them curious kids who just can't help but to touch, interfere or break something!

I keep very little at home!

Caravan upgrade this year too hopefully. Something with a fixed bed, gas and electric central heating and showering facilities. A few pipes and cables here and there and I will have my own indoor holiday home lol.

Only problem I have now is I want to be there all the time potching about, but with a new addition to the family, my man cave will have to wait until my baby is a bit older!

 Women ey! They don't seem to nag about all their shoe boxes and make up around the place..

I love going to the garage to tinker with the car too. All the tools in the same place, crack the radio on. Bliss!
