Roof Mounted Aerial - dmcnorway - 25 Oct 2013 Hi, does anyone know what roof mounted aerials were used on a few select Euro-spec RH DeLoreans? Brand name please, and can they still be bought somewhere? Re: Roof Mounted Aerial - Chris P - 25 Oct 2013 These are only ( normally) on the 3 AXI cars, but my current car ( vin 522) had one fitted, I presume by the previous owner and I have recently replaced it. Ones that look similar are readily available in the UK . Not sure what make they are. Re: Roof Mounted Aerial - stunned_monkey - 25 Oct 2013 That one is off a Citroen Xantia (and probably many many others) Re: Roof Mounted Aerial - dmcnorway - 26 Oct 2013 Thanks! The more I look at it, the more certain I get that this roof mounted aerial is also the one featured on the Renault Alpine... Does anyone know how the wiring goes from the aerial? Hole in T-panel obviously, but with or without silicone sealant? Re: Roof Mounted Aerial - stunned_monkey - 27 Oct 2013 When my Xantia's one broke off recently, it did not have silicone underneath. I bought the replacement on eBay. It uses the screw as the connection and the roof as the ground plane. |
