nice of Osamu to reply, its a shame the Japanese system is in such a way to save cars like this being saved/used for parts due to 'red tape'.

Here's a video walk-around of the car from 6 years ago (!)

A little update on the topic.

As I returned to Japan for work related reasons, I used my weekend to chase the lead on this car.
I arrived to destination on Sunday around noon.

After studying Google street view for last 3 years, I knew exactly where the car was. On recent photos there, I also noticed that there is new car cover on it. This made me thinking, that somebody is looking after it and it will be there when I arrive!

At this moment I can only tell that I have some lead on the owner of the land/car. He lives close by, but was not there when I knocked on his door.

As we didn't want to be trespassing on this property without approval from the owner, we didn't remove the cover to check the vehicle condition or it's VIN. Hopefully owner of land will allow us to get some pictures and get the real story of this car.

I hope that in some way, I will save THE GODZILLA ! Smile

Lets hope they are willing to sell it or at least give you permission to have a good look at the car
