I'll x-post this to the Club's Twitter and Facebook links when there's a bit more info to try and drum up some interest for you from the wider community. Re: MY DELOREAN IS BEING AUCTIONED SEP 9TH - Chris P - 27 Aug 2013 Sorry, i can't find it at all. Am I the only person who has heard of i bidder? I have bought and sold Delorean's privately and on eBay, never been too much troubled by time wasters. My main problem was getting folk to come and look at it in the first place ......and finding someone with a load of spare dosh , could be a problem in these stringent times. I'd think about one of the specialist car classic car auction houses. The one in East anglia seems to do very well. Good luck....£20k starting seems a trifle optimistic to me. ......just my opinion of course. ( but I have had 13 of them) Re: MY DELOREAN IS BEING AUCTIONED SEP 9TH - Starglider - 28 Aug 2013 Chris P Wrote:Good luck....£20k starting seems a trifle optimistic to me. ......just my opinion of course. ( but I have had 13 of them) If there's the real starting price (no reserve price) then it seems reasonable to me. Prices have been trending up this year, so for a low mileage ready to drive away example a final price in the £25k to £30k range seems plausible. Re: MY DELOREAN IS BEING AUCTIONED SEP 9TH - Chris Williams - 28 Aug 2013 This makes Paul's car very good value then: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321187554627? ... 1423.l2649 Chris Re: MY DELOREAN IS BEING AUCTIONED SEP 9TH - Chris P - 29 Aug 2013 I agree Chris, brilliant car, auto's are not everyones preference, but if your not used to changing gear with your right hand, its one less worry. This car is a bargain ! Dont' worry about the fuel issue, as Dave Howarth would say "its only something and nothing". If i'd got garage room, i'd buy it. |
