Infact usually better for it! Chris Re: How to take of catalyst ? - Basunfan - 19 Apr 2013 Yes it's running a little fun, but also smells of gas, so maybe that's what's wrong instead. Thanks for the replies, and fell free to tell me more that can help my can get to run better. It's also goes up and down in idle speed when cold. I put on "new" ecu but that doesn't seams to work. Re: How to take of catalyst ? - RobScott - 19 Apr 2013 taking the cat of shouldnt make the engine do that. sounds more of a vacuum pipe / injection problem. Re: How to take of catalyst ? - Basunfan - 20 Apr 2013 Yes I'm also afraid it could be injection, it also react pretty slow on gas pedal, some kinda latency on. ? But have no clue what to do, not many people in Denmark can fix the k-jet, not that I know of :-( Re: How to take of catalyst ? - Chris Williams - 21 Apr 2013 How far are you from Ed @ DeLorean.eu ? Chris Re: How to take of catalyst ? - Basunfan - 21 Apr 2013 800-900 kilometer Re: How to take of catalyst ? - RobScott - 21 Apr 2013 best bet is to check simple/free things. check vacuum pipes, clean up Earths / grounds, battery terminals, Spark plug gaps, HT lead connections, Ignition Timing, Re: How to take of catalyst ? - Chris Williams - 21 Apr 2013 If the fault started after removing the cat then you need to check around the area work was being done. There are (as Rob suggested) vacume pipes running above that area, knocking one of these off can cause a lot of issues. http://www.k-jet.org/articles/informati ... ing-guide/ Chris |
