Hi folks, I have a pair of original spec rear tyres available, Goodyear eagle nct60 at 235/60 R15. these were sourced by the previous owner to replace the original tyres the car first came with. So i guess that makes these tyres late 1990's. Both have good, even tread, around 4mm remaining, but one tyre was allowed to go flat meaning that the sidewall has crazed at the flat spot. I would suggest that these may therefore not be suitable for road use but may be worth having if somebody is going for a purely original concours spec restoration. If in any doubt I wouldn't use them on the road, mine had only been up and down the drive on them since I spotted the crazing. they would be fine to keep a car mobile during restoration, or to enable it to be backed up and down a trailer.
Anyway, probably no takers, but I know how rare they are these days so thought I'd ask round the patch before I got rid.
