Heat Shrink - wires for switches and sensors in the engine.. - Barson - 21 Feb 2007 ..bay There's no problem in using heat shrink to wrap the wiring in the engine bay is there? I can't find a clear yes or no, which makes me think there isn't a problem :lol: It'd just look neater, that's all. Some of the tape that's on the wiring ATM is melted and I'd like to replace it (wires themselves are good). cheers big ears! No reason not to use it... it makes things look pretty - Rich H - 22 Feb 2007 One thing I would say in this is that heatshrink will make the loom terribly stiff and difficult to form to the right profile. Get some looming tape and retape it... |
