Fir Trees - stunned_monkey - 13 Aug 2010 Hi All, I don't know if this is of interest, but I've recently found a source of the fir trees used on the headliners - with the correct "comma" shaped head and in fact much stronger than the originals. They can also be used on the rest of the door trim too where they're capable of completely eliminating the gaps created by tired 30-year-old ones. I really cannot emphasise enough how tight these things grip! £15 for a bag of 20 incl postage. Re: Fir Trees - Guinney1971 - 13 Aug 2010 thats good to know Martin, I'll be wanting some of those in due course, as my headliners need doing and my doors need to come apart again to do my window motors at some point. Cheers for the info - good find! |
