From one of your freinds OR THEIR freinds (Worm like activity)
Do not click on the link.
It will take you to a site called http://www.yuotube.com (<< DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK <<) note the spelling
The site you will go to will ask you to update your active script to view the video (The site looks like a genuine youtube page)
Once you have given it permission you will start getting a yellow triangle in your task bar warning you of a system security threat.
Clicking on this triangle or opening a webpage will take you to
http://www.websafenotice.com (<< DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK <<)
which will direct you to
download .advancedavpro.com:8080/aavsetup.exe (<< DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK <<)
The further you go down this path the more your system will be stuffed - the idea is that you install ang purchase their software to clean your machine (Thus giving them your CC details as well)
If you have already been caught out - or freinds etc have
go here (You will still be able to get to the site)
http://www.superantispyware.com/
download the free version and install it.
You will need to disable system restore (Google it - sorry dont have time to tell you how) and then restart your machine in safe mode and run a full scan using Superantispyware YOU WILL NEED TO RESART IN SAFEMODE FOR THE SECOND TIME AND RUN A FULL SCAN AGAIN TO ENSURE YOU ARE CLEAN
