I am looking for a project DeLorean, please can you help!! - dmc12 - 13 Mar 2008

Hi,

I am new on here and I have been on the hunt for a project D for some time and with very little success  Sad

I have been looking primarily in the states for cars, bit it seem to be a bit slow at the moment and I am trying the usual sources such as eBay, Hemmings and I've also tryed PJ Grady with no luck at all, so I'm making an apeal on here, that if anyone knows of a project DeLorean anywhere, please can you PM me and let me know, I am a serious buyer.

I would be more then greatful as I have wanted a DeLorean since I saw BTTF back in '85 when I was five. I can't take waiting anymore, it's to much of a struggle to seeing friends of mine driving around in there D's and having all the fun   Even if I just had one sitting in my drive getting restored I would be more then ecstatic Tongue Big Grin

I will definitely consider pretty much any condition, although I would like it to be in decent enough condition, not a totally mangled right off

I look forward to your replys

Thanks folks

Kind Regards

Darryn

I have just bought my first two Deloreans and they will be on their way to me from the states next week hopefully. I found a non-runner by googling Delorean for sale and going through the first about 10 pages. I found loads available from the non runner I bought for $9000 to one that seems in quite good order for $16,500. Altogether in Import tax and shipping it is costing me £16k for the two cars which I think is a bargain.

Looking at what was available was good fun, organising payment and shipping was also good fun. Everything is now out of my hands and I can tell you waiting on the cars is not good fun lol. Look here for cars that are available at a reasonable price at the moment in the states.

Try this site, it throws up loads of deloreans in all sorts of conditions. I think it's one of those searches that searches all the for sale sites.

some of the adverts are a little out of date, but sometimes there are some real bargains to be had.
