- Guinney1971 - 07 Feb 2008 coolio mate! Last year, we were using that 'river' that runs through Billing as a Magners cooler Just put the Magners in a bag, then lowered it on a rope into the river until wanted. Perfect - Dan Willis - 07 Feb 2008 Last year the Aquadrome was aptly named as the entire place was a river! It was the quietest (and coldest) Billing for years. I sincerly hope it's better this year - the Monaro nearly sank! - Guinney1971 - 07 Feb 2008 It was nice though that the sun did shine all day Saturday and most of Sunday We packed up the tent and left just after lunch on the Sunday, as we'd heard that rain was on its way and didnt fancy packing up the tent in the p'ing rain. This was our 2 Cav's last year - "Mazzie" (the red one) looks different now - being such a work horse, she's totally ditched at the moment We'll probably take Mazzie again this year, and the Astra Coupe - my silver Cavalier is gonna be stripped down and restored this year, and the blue Cavalier is a bit too much of shed to be showable  - Dan Willis - 07 Feb 2008 Your red cav looks identical to my first cav (2.0 Cdi on an L plate). Fantastic car - really torquey for a 8v'er (as they are known for being). You appear to have a rather unhealthy attachment to old "crappy" Vauxhalls though I kid! - Guinney1971 - 07 Feb 2008 lol - the old 2.0 8 valve engine was a good bombproof old lump - why the heck they changed it to the Ecotec (or Ecopoo as they're known) escapes me  Anyway, less of the crappy old Vauxhalls you!! (You had a Cavalier Coupe aka Calibra, remember!! lol  ) Nowt wrong with those old Cavvy's - cheap to buy (the blue one cost me £46 with 7 months MOT), cheap to run and dead reliable Perfect! - tc ozzie - 16 Feb 2008 Hi claire the alternator is yours read ya ebay messsage for more info ok |
