It would indeedy, but the bling value would be in the "respect" levels ! NickT PS Only way to tell would be to get rolling road results. - NickT - 29 Jun 2007 Chris & Suzie William Wrote:Daniel Shane Wrote:Well, The Twin Turbo car at the moment is not putting out anywhere near what it should. It's putting out less that the Renault 25 Turbo the engine was rebuilt as. Main bit would be the higher compression ratio, the different advance curve of the distributor and by using the correct matching K-Jet The engine sounded nice n sweet at EuroTec with no rattles or tapping. NickT. - PJ Grady (Europe) - 29 Jun 2007 On the issue of 'fast' Deloreans, just to let the group know, we are in the process of making Legend 530 ready for shipping to the UK, I would expect this car to be the fastest Delorean in the UK by the time we are finished with the car. For those of you that do not know 530 is 502's twin turbo sister, its more of a prototype than 502 but it will be completely identical to her when finished. It will be brought to a more original standard, with the exception of possibly more performance. Pilot 20 is going to take the lead in terms of completing the restoration process first, The car will hopefully arrive in time for the NEC, which is planned for viewing to everyone. I expect later in the year or possibly by the beginning of next year 530's restoration will begin. The car is currently at PJGrady Inc waiting for us to prep her. For more info please check are Legend page for more details. Best Wishes! Chris www.PJGrady.co.uk - Emagine - 03 Jul 2007 Sorry been away and now I've noticed this topic. I would say that Maddie is a hell of a lot quicker then a standard De. There is still a lot more power to get out of these engines. It just takes lots of time. Here is are all the Pics, video and graphs of when my stage II went on the rolling road http://www.emagineproductions.co.uk/delorean/Dyno.htm I do need to sort out with Chris a bit of a rolling road session with his Stage II . I'll have a word with the guys in Hoddesdon again about it Chris, see if they could do us a deal on two Deloreans. - Chris Williams - 03 Jul 2007 Yep, No problem Stu. I'm normally about during the week due to my shift work. If you want to give me a ring when you know you and the dyno people are available I will try and work around that. Chat soon. Chris |
