It did as it happens, Mike the garage owner - who was a time served PRV Volvo mechanic with a book full of certs - put over half the hours down to the garage apprentice. Grunt work such as cleaning parts & general bolt removal done by the apprentice was fine by me. Any proper detail work on the engine was done by Mike, and he put a few hours in for free to get the engine running super sweet. He had all the Volvo special tools in storage, and all the gauges etc. for the K-Jet. Total garage bill in the end was less than half the quoted value.
